Hard Water

Hard water leaves a buildup on appliances and can cut their useful life by a third. You’ll notice spots on fixtures, sinks, silverware and glasses, and you’ll use a lot of cleaners to remove them. Hard water contains dissolved calcium, magnesium and, in many cases, iron. Most homes have hard water, whether from a private well or a municipality.
